Barkitecture at Goodwood 2024

Headrush! was our entry for this year’s kennel design competition, organised by Kevin McCloud and The Duke of Richmond. Goodwoof has joined the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival as highpoints of the estate’s annual calendar. We were delighted to be chosen for the third consecutive year.

Our design was one of 12 chosen for auction by Bonham’s from a range of architects and designers which this year included the studio heads at Rolls Royce and Aston Martin Lagonda, Grimshaw and Sebastian Conran. Previous years have included Apple’s Jony Ive, Lord Norman Foster, Lord Richard Rogers, and Marc Newson.

Inspired by the pleasure that dogs get from sticking their noses out of moving cars, we took that notion to the extreme and imagined a kennel formed from the air intake of a vintage racing car.
